Jane Jardines - Professional Belly Dancer
Jane Jardines is a professional belly dancer in Sydney and has been involved in the art of belly dance since 1995. Jane was crowned winner in Solo, group and best choreography categories for the 1st Annual National Belly Dance Competition on 28th November 2003, at Enmore Theatre. Jane is one of the few full-time bellydancers in Australia.
Jane directed and produced "1001 Arabian Nights Fantasy Show " showcasing over 30 brilliant performers, the most spectacular bellydance extravaganza touring in Australia for the first time.

Jane has danced internationally and has completed private classes and workshops with renowned teachers in Egypt including Farida, Mona Al Said, Dina, Raqia Hassan, Yasmina, Aida Nour, Randa Kamel, Soraya, Beata and Horacio from Germany.
Her classical and elegant belly dance style varies from Egyptian Raqs Al-Sharqi, Greek Ciftetelli - ancient and modern, and Turkish mix.

Jane uses many accessories such as live python snake, shamadan (candelabra), sword balancing, gold wings, saiidi, zills (finger cymbals) and veil to compliment her belly dancing performances.

Bellydance Teacher
Jane is also one of Sydney's top belly dance teachers. Jane founded her Sydney bellydancing school in 2005 where she teaches bellydancing for beginners, intermediate and advanced dancers. She is also available for private lessons.
